Summary:
The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for performing the required inspection operations based on the Job Traveler and Quality Criteria throughout the manufacturing process:
Receiving, In-Process, Final, and Product Release.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (essential functions of the position):

Perform and document all inspections based on the Quality Inspection plans.
Inspect to the AQL / C=0 Sampling plan provided Perform 1st Article Layouts when required Assist in Calibration when needed Perform Gage R&R tasks when required Assist in Problem Solving ESSENTIAL EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED 1-2 yrs Inspection Experience Good communication skills both written and oral Good organization skills Experience using the following gauging:
mics, calipers, comparators, height gauges, thread gages Basic Computer Skills NONESSENTIAL SKILLS, EXPERIENCE, AND QUALIFICATIONS (not necessary but preferred):
Experience with Inspection of Medical Devices Certified Mechanical Inspector (CMI-ASQ) Proficient with GD&T / blueprint reading PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK CONDITIONS:

The workday is 8 hours with a break before and after the unpaid half-hour mid-shift meal break.
