SDI is committed to being the premier milk ingredient manufacturer/supplier for animal nutrition.
We have three divisions, spray dryer system, dry and liquid milk products, and our own livestock.
The Inventory Specialist ensures that the warehouse inventory is accounted for effectively and efficiently while maintaining an appropriate amount for the Livestock and Spray Dryer division's needs.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Keep track of raw materials, equipment, shipments, incoming deliveries, and stock Digitally manage perpetual inventory and create inventory reports Reconcile inventory differences between physical and perpetual Maintains consistent stock of inventory, ordering new stock as need Develops and maintains good working relationships with vendors OTHER DUTIES:
UPS/Fed Ex Shipping BMV paperwork and licensing for company vehicles Special projects Manage month end statements for select vendors
Qualifications:
Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies Ability to meet assigned deadlines Strong team player Detail oriented Working basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel EDUCATION &
Experience:
High School diploma or higher 2 plus years tracking and managing inventory digitally Forklift Certification preferred Job Type:
